The couple has finally spoken up about the whole situation.
According to Unliad: The British couple who took a controversial wedding photo which simulated oral have finally addressed the outrage surrounding their joke wedding photo.
27-year-old Matthew Lunn and his new wife Carly, 34, took the photo outside the sacred monastery of St Paul on the island of Rhodes as a joke for their friends and family.
Unfortunately for the couple the people of Rhodes consider the monastery a sacred place and didn’t see the funny side.
In fact, they found the photo so despicable that the Bishop Kyrillos of Rhodes made the decision to ban all foreign weddings at the monastery ruining dream weddings across the world.
Mr Lunn has now claimed that the couple regrets taking the photo adding that the couple only wanted to demonstrate their ‘unique sense of humor’.
In an interview with The Sun he said:
It’s been blown out of proportion. We were just pretending and having a laugh. The Greeks have completely over-reacted. We don’t think we did anything wrong but we regret it and wish we hadn’t bothered.
Meanwhile, Carly explained that they had always planned to do the photo and that they expected ‘a lot of laughs and jokes’ from people but that things went ‘mad’ when the photo went viral.
The photo may have been intended as a joke but a lot of people don’t think it was very funny, including Matt’s granddad who told the Mail Online that he found the picture ‘disgusting’.
Giorgos Eleftheriou, president of the local Lindos community in Rhodes, also condemned the couples actions.
In an interview with The Times he said:
We are Greek and we cherish our traditions and the sanctity of our religious sites. We cannot allow this disgusting behaviour to prevail.’
I have hundreds of soon-to-be brides from Britain and all over the world calling me today in tears because of this decision.
Shame on those two for the damage they have done. Would they have done the same in their homeland; in front of a British chapel, a Jewish temple, a Muslim mosque? They would have been beheaded by Muslims!
According to the LA Times, as the death toll rose to 40, firefighters struggled Saturday to get the upper hand against several massive wildfires that have ravaged Northern California for almost a week. Strong winds kicked up overnight in the central Napa Valley region, causing some fires to spread and triggering evacuations in Sonoma and elsewhere, officials said.
Fire officials feared that winds forecast for Saturday would be similar to those that stoked the first flames on Oct. 8 and that have since exploded to more than 15 fires that have scorched 220,000 acres, destroyed an estimated 5,700 structures and caused at least 40 deaths.
Despite low humidity and red flag warnings throughout the region, however, the winds appeared to calm down Saturday afternoon, aiding firefighters who have been battling the fire around the clock, officials said.
Officials warned that the biggest threat remains the low humidity, with the dry air continuing to transform grass and vegetation into fuel.
“It’s been drying out the mountains,” said National Weather Service forecaster Steve Anderson. “It’s still going to be bone-dry out there overnight.”
Northerly winds, similar to Southern California’s Santa Ana winds, are expected to move across the region at about 15 mph overnight with some 25 mph gusts, he said. Temperatures are expected to drop into the mid-40s overnight, with temperatures expected to hover in the mid-80s Sunday.
More than 10,000 firefighters from California and other states are fighting the fires in Northern California, said Dave Teter of the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, and officials are readying more crews in Southern California, where red flag warnings are in place through Sunday.
During a night of strong winds, the 46,000-acre Nuns fire in Sonoma County grew by at least 300 acres, threatening the outskirts of the city of Sonoma and the Oakmont neighborhood in Santa Rosa. It was 10% contained as of Saturday, and had destroyed some buildings in the city of Sonoma.
Firefighters were asleep in Healdsburg early Saturday morning when they got the call around 3:30 a.m.: Get over to the Oakmont neighborhood of Santa Rosa.
High winds had sent the Nuns fire branching toward the city, which had already been devastated by the Tubbs fire earlier in the week. Another branch was heading toward the city of Sonoma.
When firefighters arrived, police were helping to evacuate the area.
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen that many cop cars Code 3,” CalFire spokesman Jeff Allen said, meaning they were flashing their lights and blaring their sirens.
The firefighters headed up the ridge in the darkness, trying to hold the flames at bay with hoses and shovels. When the sun came up, air tankers and helicopters started dropping fire retardant and water. Bulldozers cut through the earth to create fire breaks and firefighters set backfires to slow the blaze’s advance.
They were helped by the weather as winds started to slow later in the morning.
The ridge remained blanketed with smoke late Saturday morning as helicopters circled. Occasionally a tall tree would become engulfed, and flickers of flames would be briefly visible from the road.
An offshoot of the Nuns fire, which ignited early Saturday when a downed power line touched a tree branch, has grown from 300 acres to more than 400 acres in several hours near Oakmont, Cal Fire operations section chief Steve Crawford said Saturday afternoon. Flames were pushing east, and closer to Highway 12, he said.
Firefighters are also working to hold flames back from reaching the outskirts of Sonoma. The wind “has hit us pretty hard, and there’s a pretty good firefight going on in the field right now,” Crawford said. Winds have also stopped some air tankers from making water drops on flames closer to St. Helena, Crawford said.
Twenty-two people have died in the Tubbs fire in Sonoma County, eight in Mendocino County, four in Yuba County and six in Napa County.

If you don’t believe that driving while texting is deadly then you deserve to be killed by someone who is texting and driving. It’s that simple. While Pokemon GO has generally had a positive effect on people (in many cases improving fitness, bringing communities together, etc etc) there are always negative consequences. In Japan, many deadly accidents have occurred as a result of people driving while trying to play Pokemon GO. Even after these reports, stupid people are still doing this.
And not only pedestrians. This time an actual bus driver was caught red handed playing Pokemon GO while on the job. So not only was he putting his own life in danger, but every single passenger on that bus. Way to go moron.
Footage has surfaced of a bus driver in Japan appearing to play Pokémon Go while he is driving. The clip is rather unsettling.Sanyo News reports that this is a tour bus driver from the Ryobi Group in Osaka. The company has banned drivers from having mobile phones while they’re behind the wheel and apologized for the incident. This comes after deadlyaccidents have been blamed on Pokémon Go drivers in Japan and abroad.
Since the beginning of when movies were made, mistake happen in production and post-production. It’s common. It’s just the way it is. And we as movie viewers always like to point out these mistakes. It’s our job and frankly it’s entertaining when an actor is wearing black shoes in one frame and then white sneakers in the next. It makes you wonder, “what the hell were they thinking in there?” But there are also times in movies where the film’s creators didn’t make any mistakes at all. There are times where it’s almost as if deliberately they want movie watchers to hit pause on their DVD players.

Summit1G
The video where gamer Summit1G gets Swatted shows that this type of “prank” as some call it, does not necessarily have to take place in a house to have the maximum effect, it can also happen in a public place, like a park, for example.
While he was out playing Pokémon GO, Summit1G and his friend got called by a couple of police officers and ordered to stand up and show their hands. It seems that the swatting was carried out by a viewer on the stream who donated and said “Watch the stream in 5 minutes”.
Kootra
A prank call sent a Swat team bursting through the doors of a Colorado office where The Creatures, a group of streamers, were recording a live match of Counter Strike on Twitch.
The gamer who was Swatted is known as Kootra and he got shaken up pretty badly, being handcuffed, searched and then interrogated. The Swat team received an anonymous tip that hostages were being held in the gamers’ office building and this is why the operation was started.
Gross Gore
When the popular League of Legends streamer Gross Gore got Swatted by a police task force, he was so cool with the entire situation that he told the agents to have a sit on the couch while he finished his ranked match. His reaction was in total contrast with the ones we usually get from other innocent players who get swatted, which usually result in a lot of desperate wailing, getting down to the floor, hands at the back and the whole shebang.
Calebhart42
The Twitch streamer and speedrunner known as Calebhart42 got swatted after someone called the Police pretending to be him and saying that they were going to do a bad thing.
Because safety is above all, an armed task force was sent to Caleb’s house to find out what violent action was going to take place, but all the officers could do was ask about the nature of the Twitch stream and learn about this horrible swatting meme that resulted in their unnecessary deployment.
Joshua Peters
This Swatting story is really sad and even though it doesn’t show the exact moment when the task force breached into Joshua Peters’ house, his reaction after the incident is enough to explain just how intense the raid actually was. In the original video, we can hear the gamer’s mother tell him they are being swatted by 10 heavily armed agents who apparently also pointed their guns at Joshua’s little brothers. His reaction video shows us just how harmful Swatting can be.
Mhova
Mhova is a freelance Texas based model and a Twitch streamer who became even more popular once she got Swatted by a police task force from her home town. The entire mission was streamed live on Twitch and, at first, we can see Mhova going to open the front door, followed by her telling the police that this was just a sick joke and introducing the officers to her fans on the streaming platform.
She is pretty composed about the whole situation, showing the webcam to the officers and telling them “this is the reason you were called to this address”.
ImGoreJess
Yet another female Twitch streamer got Swatted by some viewer who thought that they were going to do a sick joke, but unlike Mhova who got away easily, Jess was shouted at to get on the ground while the Police was searching her house.
When the task force that invaded her house noticed she was live streaming they tried to close the ongoing stream, which they eventually did. Once again, Swatting is no fun and it’s also kind of illegal.
n0thing
Cloud 9’s CSGO player Jordan “n0thing” Gilbert is yet another famous gamer who couldn’t escape the Swatting trend. It appears that a “benevolent” fan of his decided it would be a good idea to send a fully armed Police task force at n0thing’s home in an attempt to stop him from streaming and search every corner of his room. The interesting fact is that the 19 year old who was the author of this untasteful joke was caught and punished accordingly.
Two Russian Gamers
Two Russian gamers were merrily streaming a video game in their room when a heavy armed SWAT Team stormed into their house. In the clip that was taken from the live recording, we can see some agents that wave their guns at the gamers, ordering them to lay on the floor face down. Since it was first released online, the video gained a lot of popularity and was subjected to an equal amount of speculation towards its authenticity.
Ice Poseidon
Paul “Ice Poseidon” Denino is a Twitch streamer notorious for messing with people and being messed with, getting swatted more than once and starting all kinds of online feuds with other streamers. So, when Ice Poseidon was evacuated from an airplane flight due to a bomb threat alert, his fan base didn’t see this as such a big deal, but for the other people involved and for the local media this was something that deserved a spot on the local news.

Drone Films Cashpoint
A drone was allegedly used to film a cashpoint in Templepatrick, Northern Ireland, as people were entering their pin codes. An eyewitness reported to the police forces that when the drone was spotted, it flew off and crashed into a taxi, the handler being apprehended and forced to pay compensation for the damage done. Even though it was hard to prove that the flying device was used with criminal intents, filming a cashpoint is still considered kind of illegal.

Heroin Delivery in Ohio Prison
After a drone dropped a package of heroin, tobacco and marijuana in the courtyard of an Ohio prison, nine inmates got into a violent clash, leaving the officers no choice but to use pepper spray on them and strip search another 205 prisoners. This incident is just one of many instances when drones have been used to deliver packages to convicts, raising an unprecedented problem for the legal forces and making them reinforce their security across many prisons.
Mobile Phone Flown into Australian Jail
Not only UK and United States prisoners get the privilege of receiving drugs and tobacco from the outside via drone delivery. In 2014, a 28 year old man tried to smuggle a mobile phone and a pack of drugs into a maximum security prison in Melbourne. Thought to be the first attempt of this kind to ever happen in Australia, this drone related crime was carried out from a car parked outside the prison, the man responsible for it being immediately apprehended.
Drug Distribution in British Jail
Last year, in April, a drone carrying drugs for an inmate at the Manchester jail missed its target by an inch but was still spotted by a vigilant guard who was astonished to see the flying vehicle hover above the prison premises. The handler of the drone tried to make it as inconspicuous as possible, painting it black to camouflage it with the night sky, but he couldn’t deliver the contraband package to his friend. Instead, he managed to become the subject of international news.
